Our first FFA Meeting of the year will be held on Thursday September 4, 2008 at 6:00pm in Mrs. Sanderson's room (#123).  Pizza and brownies will be provided so please come and help us kick - off this new year!!!

Introducing Our Newest FFA Advisor!!!

Mrs. Tracey Sanderson will take Mr. Gilbert's place as the our chapter's second advisor this year.  Mrs. Sanderson is from Waterman, Illinois where she attended Indian Creek High School.  She is the youngest of four kids, and was raised on her parents grain farm. 

Mr. Williams and the FFA Officers are looking forward to working closely with Mrs. Sanderson to make this year, a memorable one!

 Finally, we would like to welcome Mrs. Sanderson to our FFA Chapter, and we hope that she will be with us for many years.

School's Back in Session!!

The new school year is underway, and with it comes a whole bunch of  FFA activities.  I'll keep you posted on times for meetings, contests and other events.  So check back often.  I can already tell that this year is going to be a good one!

State Convention 2008

Twelve members and two advisors from the Stillman Valley FFA Chapter endured the three hour bus trip down to Springfield, Illinois for the 80th annual Illinois FFA Convention.  The individuals who attended the convention were: (members) Abbey Warner, Brandon Wetzel, Becca DeVries, Beth Myelle, Brittany Hagemann, Caleb Warner, Jade Glendenning, Jordyn Strohman, Kim Gerardy, Tanja Buss, Whitnney Wetzel, and Zach Diehl; (advisors) Mr. Gilbert, and Mr Williams.  The Convention was held at the Prairie Capital Convention Center from June 10 -12, 2008.  While in Springfield, the chapter went to a few convention sessions and toured the historical sites in and aroud Springfield.
