Alumni
Mt. Vernon FFA Alumni was formed in 1990 as a support group for the Mt. Vernon FFA. The Alumni is an organization of individuals with the purpose of supporting the FFA organization at the local as well as the state level. Membership is open to any individual wishing to support the efforts of local and state FFA organizations. Many people believe that you must have been an FFA member during high school to be an Alumni member, but that is a false statement. The Alumni is basically a group of individuals that support the local FFA Chapter.
The Mt. Vernon FFA meets four times a year in the Agriculture room at Mt. Vernon High School. The group helps to plan and assist with the local FFA Chapter as well as sponsoring the FFA Scholarship BBQ and a summer trip.
